| The TV is Great, the AMAZON order processing earns my purchase a 1 star | |
| | Amazon changes the rules after they take your money. The original order I made said Electronic Express, then they changed it to another shipping priorty without notifying me. I called them and I reached a gentlemen who gave me a order number to go to Electronic Express to determine when my TV would be shipped. Electronic Express of course did not recognize the order number and told me to go back to Amazon. I called a second time and reached a lady.. clearly from India who would NOT divert from her script she was given and kept repeating the same thing over and over. I called back.. got a guy from India.. Suprise.. he loved his script too. But I told him he could not qualify for customer service, but more of a narator of a very entertaining script of we have your money.. we dont care if it takes 3 months to get your tv. I am sure Amazon will take this rating down as soon as they see it. Hopefully I will educate a potential buyer on Amazon from making the same mistake I made. I would not purchase from them again and I will most certainly post my disapointment about Amazon on the website that refered me to Amazon and also any other websites I get the chance to.

| | Great TV at a great price! I was skeptical about buying TV online but Amazon's price beat all local retailers. We've had good luck w/Sony TVs in the past. The White Glove delivery went smoothly & arrived several days early. It's so nice to be able to see the TV from anywhere in our Great Room!

| | Well, after shopping around forever, I decided to purchase the Sony KDL-52V4100 52-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV. Better then most that I saw in the stores. The best part was that it only cost [...] with FREE delivery and a [...] rebate from my local cable company and no payments or intrest for 12 months. After all that said, GREAT TV and GREAT PRICE

| | I bought Samsung 52A550 first because of great reviews. The picture was good, but few things were annoying, especially 1)no Closed Caption from Component and HDMI inputs; and 2)inconvinient remote control. In three weeks the TV broke - power suply failed.
I returned Samsung back to Amazon and bought Sony 52V4100. This TV has about the same picture quality, but much more user friendly and pleasurable. To compare Samsung and Sony is like to compare Hunday and Toyota - both drive, but you feel immediately which car better.

| | Typical Sony dependable & perfoms well, on a 1 - 10 scale overall satisfaction "8", picture "7", sound "9", ease of use "8". Also amazon.com gets an "8" on customer service for a Samsung LCD I recently sent back because of sound problems. They sent out a new TV within 5 days and picked up the old one. I never was without a TV.
