Unbeatable, Except for the Viewing Angle
5 out of 5 stars.
I agree with the other positive comments. I really like the 45.2 width. No other 50" TV can fit into a space that narrow. Price, picture, controls, lack of sports motion blur, light weight, energy savings, deep blacks, etc. are all as good as it gets. I am not worried about the bulb blowing after warranty. I've seen them online for $120 delivered and changing them is explained in the manual. A slight minus is that it apparently doesn't play PAL DVD discs native. You will have to get a DVD player that does the PAL to NTSC conversion. More seriously, if you need to view the TV with your head above or below the screen or more than 45 degrees off center, you should not buy this or any other DLP model. Also, it is not wall mountable.

Hi you all only 2reason i have given 4star .1 every now and then we hear the noise from back of the tv is like something got crack this noises r like my wooden floor crack when we walk but i hear this noises when no one is walking.2 i have abright room during daytime pic is perfect with dynamic setting with cont 80 brigt52 col 50 these setting r for sd tv it looks realy good 720p awesome 1080i great during the daytime in the night in dark room sd look really bad black pic has green red ghost 720p ok i even tried with standard setting and movie setting .not much diffrence overall this is my 4th hdtv in 2years not happy with hdtv technolgy manefactured r learning while putting monkey on our backsmy first tv olevia lcd 3 months kaput got refund went on buy vizio 47"plasma with 3 months warranty 7 months kaput loss 1k sittin because vizio have retierd this tv so no parts are available went on to buy phillips lcd software problem keep loosing memory need to scan the channel twice aweek atleast.Reason i write this story if you r a first time hdtv buyer dont keep your hope too high and i honestly beleive this tv wont last me more than 2 years thats why i went on and got 3 year $99.99 extended 3rd party warranty.to my research most big name or small tv company works like microsoft atleast microsoft brings upgrade and throws service pack but this tv co just make us buy new .goodluck if any of us can buy the spare parts for this tv from 2 years from now,FINAL VERDICT HDTV = ROLL A DICE.

GRRRRRRReat Deal
5 out of 5 stars.
Granted I've only had this Tv for a short time but for the price it's pretty hard to pass up this set. 1080P is where its at and this Tv delivers. There is a multitude of connections so most everyone will be able to hook up thier electronic goodies, from the past ten years to the latest and greatest. If all you have is $1000 or so budget buy this TV!

Pros: Picture is Great!
Connections galore.
Set-up is a breeze.
Great Value

Cons: It is a DLP so the viewing angle varies depending on where you sit.
Standard Tv Sound (But its the norm for the most part)
Really most anything bad about this set is minimal at best.
