Editorial Reviews:
The RC-7001RCI allows a user to expand control of their system into multiple rooms by acting as a repeater of an RF signal. Additionally, the front of the RC-7001RCI contains an IR blaster and up to six IR flashers can be attached to the rear of the unit, converting the RF signal from the remote into IR codes and is then passed along to the six connected devices.

Overly Complicated, Limited Range
3 out of 5 stars.
I got this thinking I could use my remote in an adjacent room. No luck. The RF signal didn't make it more than 25 ft from the receiver. Maybe it is my house, but I expected a much greater range. The unit is difficult to set-up and even once it is, the benefits aren't that great. I like the remote, but I would pass on this component of the system.
