| | Let's get it out of the way. Sure it's made from particle/chip board. I've dealt with particle board before, and I was very skeptical about this unit when I was considering it. But this is different.
First, I was impressed with the packaging; there's extra support for the corners & sides of the box; anyone that's dealt with particle board DIYers knows it's a crapshoot when you open the box, what will work? Plus, I was pleased that the glass wasn't broken.
Next, it was easy to assemble. Though there were no words, the pictures in the instructions made sense, and all pieces were clearly marked. There are three shelves; the top is fixed while the bottom two are adjustable. The back is not completely open, but provides a classy look along with extra support.
Once assembled, the stand looks great, and again is sturdy and solid. I have a 32" Samsung flat panel, and it looks like the stand was made for the TV. Best of all, it fits in small corners without looking crowded or tiny.

| | I opened the box and took everything out expecting to find everything I needed to put the thing together except the tools of course, and found to my surprise NO assembly instructions and NONE of the tidbits that are supposed to fit into the pre-drilled holes. Ultimately I have a mess sitting on my floor and no way to put anything together. I tried calling the customer support hotline number and it seems to be disconnected or the wrong number!! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

| Great piece of furniture! | |
| | I purchased this Corner TV/Video Base to use with a new TV. I chose this one because it was higher than any of the others I looked at in this price range, and I needed a base that would be at least 30" high.
I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to assemble, and how nice it looked with my new TV once I had it in place. The black and silver color is a perfect match to my TV, and it honestly looks like they were purchased together as a set.
This is a great piece of furniture, especially for the price! I would highly recommend it!

| | I was just at P.C. Richards and let me tell you this table is a steal compared to the tables these retailers sell which are nearly 3xs as much in cost and 2xs the size. This table is quite sturdy and perfect for LCD/Plasma TVs and small sized tube televisions. I have my 52" Samsung LCD on it and I must say the table is just big enough to fit the size of the stand that comes attached to Samsung sets. It is also the perfect height for bedroom viewing. Go for it!
