Do not go for cheap brands. i have tested this with cheap and Belkin. Belkin has best results.

Great price for name brand. Had some problems with a no name hdmi cable. Bought this one and seems to be doing fine. No problems so far. Sure beats spending $20-$100 on a similar cable in the store.

After speaking to several tech repairmen over the years I have found that, for the most part, cables is cables. I bought the belkin because it is sold almost everywhere and most everywhere charged 40 [...] or more. They work just fine for 13 [..] a piece.
