| philips home theater system | |
| | overall this item I am very pleased with the product. My only issue is the package didn't come with an owners manual. I am sure this was just a simple mistake. It makes it tough because I am learning everything through trial and error. The manual would have made things easier. As for sound itself, it is really nice, clear and full. thank you J. Arias

| Great system for your house...... | |
| | This system is great especially for the price, you won't find anything better, I've compared this system to a couple of other brands such as Sony, and Samsung, and this system holds it's own, easy connections and great sound, clear dvd playback and a bonus is the ipod dock, the remote controls your ipod.......

| | This is my first home theater system and I did a little bit of research on them before I made my purchase. I think this is an excellent system for the money. My small living room sounds like a movie theatre.

| Owned for over a year now | |
| | OK, I've had mine for well over a year now. I had it in my apartment and now in my house. I LOVE the sound. I am pretty particular about sound and I really like this set up. Great bass and clear highs. I love the iPod dock and have no problems controlling volume or music selection with the remote. The only things I don't care for are the CD/DVD door is cheap and flimsy but has had no problems. When selecting between functions, it takes a few seconds to change, it's just annoying. There is no separate bass and treble controls, yet it still sounds really good. I would definitely reccommend purchasing this. Its a great system that is great on the budget. Worth every penny and still performs well enough that i would write a review after more than a year. This is my first review ever, and I'm cranking my iPod up right now!

| Great Home Theater with USB functionality, Great Value | |
| | I've own this product for over a year, and it was one of the best decisions I've made. I was initally looking at the lower end home theater systems, around hundred-dollar price range, but have had no regrets spending a little more for quality.
I use this most for playing DVDs, and watching movies from the USB disk input. I generally use a USB thumb drive, but plugging an external USB hard drive into this slot works as well. You can use the remote to scroll through folders to find and play your music and movies.
I'm not an audio-phile, but the surround sound sounds great to me. I always jump when I hear a door creak from one of the rear speakers. :)
Setup was easy, everything is color-coded and labeled well.
Highly recommend!
