Not as pictured!
For those of you expecting a black or dark gray binder, you are not going to get what you expected! This binder has a black spine, but the front of it is a shiny metallic light gray when viewed in the light (dim the lights and hold it at specific angles, and it looks like the picture!)! From the photo, it appears as if the material is a simulated leather. However, it does not appear that way in real life. Compared to what's expected, the binder looks cheap and cheesy! This was to be a Christmas gift given the weekend before Christmas. The delay in shipment from TVG forced me to scramble for an alternative at the last minute! Fortunately, I found an better alternative, a Targus model, at Staples that looked classier and like leather. Even though the Atlantic binder appears well made and sturdy, the Targus binder outshines in a very important feature: There are flaps above where you slide the CD into the sleeves, preventing slippage if the binder is not kept upright. This made the few extra dollars for the Targus binder well worth it! If you are not bothered by a light grey and black binder, and don't mind that it doesn't feature the flaps to hold the CD's in place, then you'll do just fine. However, if you're expecting a black leather-look binder in all one color, go for another option (such as the Targus). Highly disappointed since this was not clearly described and not properly portrayed in the photo! Note: Since purchasing this item, at least one of the sellers who offers this product has updated their description to include the color as gray (not light or dark, just gray). Apparently, I'm not the only person who has been disappointed in the actual item versus what was expected based on the photo!
