It's a great product
4 out of 5 stars.
This really is a great product; it eliminated 5 remotes from my TV room and allowed my wife to buy the cabinet of her choice--with solid doors and no components exposed. However, be prepared for an hour(s) of set up time and programing. It really takes a lot of work (and patience) to get all the buttons to work just the way you want it.

Works great, but only one per house!

The Remote control works very well, with an extensive list of components and the ability to learn from other remotes. In addition, the RF control used witht he Master Control Power Blaster makes it easy to have all your components out of sight and still use your remote. However there is one big issue that you need to understand. You can only have one of these in any house if you use the PowerBlaster! The reason is that any other URC remote such as the RF10, RF30 or older versions which also have RF control will interfere with your use fo t his remote, and vice versa. The PowerBlaster is not addressable and will not link to only one remote. ANY RF20 or similar remote within range will operate your nsystem, even if it was not intending to do so. I have an older remote (The Master Control RF300) for my home theatre using a PowerBlaster to control that system in my family room. I got the URC RFS200 bundle for a second system in my bedroom. However, every time I used it to change channels on my HD DVR/Cable Box it would also change channels (or turn on, off, etc) the system in the Family Room.
So, the bottom line is that this is perfect if it is the only such system in the house. If you are already using a PowerBlaster elsewhere in your home you will need to look elsewhere.

Works Great. But one catch
4 out of 5 stars.
This worked out just as I had hoped. The remote has all the buttons necessary to control my cable box, DVD player, satellite, and tv. Like it so much I wanted to buy another for the bedroom. But it works only on one frequency, so you can't have more than one in your house. Looks like I'll need to buy a more expensive model that lets you change the ID of each of the boxes so I can have multiple in the same home.

I can't believe it works!
5 out of 5 stars.
I was terribly skeptical and almost didn't get this because I thought the reviews seemed so-so. I figured if others had problems setting it up, I would have HUGE problems. Not so. It is functioning perfectly, the remote is nice and intuitive, and I'm excited to be able to close the door to all the ugly components I had to look at before!

Tips on programming this remote
4 out of 5 stars.
I notice people are not fully aware of things they can do with this remote, so here is a brief review on how to utilize its functionalities.

First of all, you CAN choose where each of your components (devices) show up on the LCD page. When you set up each component, the first thing it asks you is which slot you want your component to appear. I set up my page to be:

CABLE
DVD
PVR
(empty)
(empty)

The other tip is that you want to make sure you "punch through" all the common functionalities so you can control the output device from anywhere. In my case, my TV is the output device, so I punch through TV so I can control volume, aspect ratio and HDMI input selection from any mode (CABLE, DVD or PVR). That way, if I am watching a DVD, I never have to switch to TV mode to change the aspect ratio to wide screen.

I hope this helps.
