| | This works great and was easy to use. I only gave it 4 stars because I had to get online to find my codes. Several pages in my manual had no printing at all. Those pages were of course the pages I needed to find my devices codes. At the same time I purchased this remote I also bought a Philips, 6 device, remote that was a few dollars more but I like it better because it is smaller and slimmer.

| | This remote was a breeze to program and has all the functions I could want. Also the big buttons are awesome.

| | this remote sets up easy. the remote has a sleep function on it, and it says you can set up a tv that has a dvd and or vcr built in the tv, a lot of remotes will not do that. i like this remote a lot.

| Very Good Universal Remote | |
| | I have used universal remotes for a lot of years now. I have always been a gadget guy so keeping the remotes around for my media setup, especially with kids, is just not practical. For several years I have been using this one for all remote. I have replaced the remote three times for a variety of reasons but have always returned to the same basic model.
You would think with being a gadget guy I would go in for a real expensive remote that could literally do everything. I have tried the more expensive remotes. Believe it or not I have not enjoyed anything more complex then this remote. The others are just too much work for relaxing. I like and my family likes the more relaxed usage of the simple one for all remote.
Pros: - Inexpensive. Very easy to fit in a your budget. - Easy to program. - Works with just about any device even though the codes haven't been updated in a while. - Nice large buttons. - Button layout is logical and easy to get familiar with. - Lasts a long time. I have broken or lost 3 but that is not the devices fault.
Negatives: - This is not a learning remote. You can search for codes but you can't import functions from other remotes. - Does not work well with DVD/VCR combos. This is the only reason I have considered moving up. - Buttons do not light up or glow in the dark and that would be nice.
For the price I could not ask for much more.
