This stand works just as advertised. No problems, No complaints. I have a first gen plasma and man is it heavy, but this stand took the weight and feels very steady. Completely satisfied
Universal Tabletop Stand
This was a great buy! I saw the exact same stand at Fry's Electronics for $200.00! I was worried that the stand would not hold the weight of my 42" plasma, but it is very sturdy. I was very impressed with it.
It works
It holds a plasma tv (mine is 42") and is substantially cheaper than most other models. I don't know what the more expensive models do that this one doesn't. Why waste money on a tv stand?--you've spent enough on the tv. I'm going to paint the silver base black so it doesn't show as much.
