| Do yourself a favor, and buy this stand | |
| | First off, I want to say that I have never written a review for a product purchased from Amazon.com (although I've bought many I can assure you), but felt compelled to provide a few comments on the Sanus PFFP stand I recently ordered.
Long story short - I couldn't be happier with my new stand. It looks absolutely terrific, is built extremely well, and wonderfully holds and displays my plasma television and components.
Ok ... so you get it, I love the stand. But one other point I'd like to make (and the reason for my review) is about the directions to assemble the unit ... (no, it doesn't come pre-assembled, so there is a little bit of work to do).
The directions are the best, well thought out, concise set that I have ever seen. Pictures clearly illustrate step-by-step instructions for putting the few pieces together, and each screw or bolt is CLEARLY labeled, and in its OWN SEPARATE BAG. Setup time is minimal, so you'll be enjoying your stand shortly after it arrives.
The folks at Sanus really got it right - you won't be disappointed. If you are looking for a flat panel television stand, I highly recommend the PFFP.

| | This is very heavy & well constructed if you do not need a lot of shelf space & have limited wall space this is a nice change from the woodpile look.
I thought I was missing a small part but actually had it, when I called the Sanus 800 number the phone was answered promptly and the ... not missing ... part was quickly shipped.
Great for a TV, DVD player and your AV receiver plus room for a few knick knacks to decorate things up a bit.

| Excellent Buy, Fast Delivery, Easy Assembly, Looks Great | |
| | I've been looking for something like this TV stand for a while. Mounting my 42" plasma on the wall was not an option and all the other A/V centers were way too big or expensive. I'd seen this Sanus unit at a local electronics store before, but it was full retail price. Online pricing I saw varied but averaged $400 once you included shipping. When I saw it here on Amazon for $237.99 with free shipping, I bought it right away!
I placed the order with Amazon on Monday, it shipped via ground and I received the unit on Friday. Amazon used a 3rd party carrier who contacted me and arranged for a delivery time so I didn't have to wait around all day.
Overall the unit was easy to assemble, the instructions were clear and every piece is marked so there was no confusion as to what needed to go where. This unit is very sturdy and there were no cheap plastic parts, most everything is solid metal. I was able to assemble this unit in about 45min by myself. I had to wait for help to get the tv mounted since it's not a once person task.
I have a 42" Hitachi Plasma (42HDS69) and the silver finish on this stand matched my tv. It is very aesthetically pleasing having my plasma mounted on this unit and my A/V components arranged neatly. The adjustable glass shelf gives the unit a clean look.
The only negative I'd give this unit is the glass shelf. It's nice to look at and claims to hold up to 50lbs. I only wish it had some metal supports under the shelf vs. the single bracket which holds the glass in place.
I give this Sanus TV stand 5 stars based on all the factors I listed in the title. Excellent buy & value, fast delivery, easy assembly and great looking.

having some trouble finding the right bolt that fits into the tv.
did anyone have to purchase separate bolts?
I have a samsung lnt 4065F. Please feel free to share thoughts. thanks
