| | I bought these speakers for my wife to use with our MP3 player in our kitchen. It is a smaller kitchen, and a under cabinet CD Player wouldn't fit, but these work perfectly. The sound quality is great (although I don't have much to compare it to), and they look really sleek. Excellent buy!

| Great speakers but with some caveats | |
| | As many other users have stated, the speakers sound great. Voices and music sound clear, and have noticeable bass.
Caveats: - The knob is slippery, so you probably don't want to adjust them that often. Use audio controls on your computers instead. - The speakers absolutely will not turn on without the power cord. On my old Sony SRS A37s, I could run them without power at the cost of bass and lower volume, but no sound comes out the JBL's at all.

| | I have a love of loud music and blew the speakers on my husband's Mac Pro. I read great reviews on these speakers and bought them. They are AMAZING!!!!! I even bought another pair for my kitchen. They sound great and don't cost much.

| JBL Duet Speakers sound awesome! | |
| | These JBL Duet speakers truly sound great! I use them hooked up to my Ipod Shuffle and they sound awesome, for such a small 2 channel speaker set up. Do not expect major bass, because they do not have sub-woofer. They do clearly bring to the table, quality sound that more expensive speakers bring, for a fraction of the cost. I would recommend these to anyone in the market, looking for a two channel speaker system for there computer, portable audio devices or gaming.

| | The speakers are surprisingly good for something so cheap. Simple set up: i.e. plug and play. There are no subwoofers, balance control, etc, but I really can't complain.
