Klipsch Quintet SL Review

“Small but mighty” is the way to describe the new Klipsch Quintet SL audio system. In today’s interior decor, gone are the big, clunky and space-grabbing sound systems. Gone also are the earth-shaking booming bass and ear-splitting reverb. The new Klipsch Quintet SL produces great sound without offending. That’s really the aim of most audiophiles.

Appearance Counts
By all appearances, the Klipsch Quintet SL home theater ensemble is designed with sound and appeal in mind without sacrificing one for the other. Three front speakers are MTM D’Appolito design complete with horn-loaded 3/4 inch aluminum dome tweeters and two 3.5 inch mid-bass drivers. There are also two ports on the exterior of the woofers. The new design allows for three speakers to create the appearance of three sides of flat panel similar to the style of the new flat panel TVs. Rear speakers, like those of front speakers, are also horn loaded tweeter and 3.5 inch woofers for maximum quality sound. This configuration establishes the clean design as well as the quality of sound.

The Best in Sound Features
With 93db@1watt/1meter for the fronts and 91db@1watt/1meter for rears, the Klipsch Quintet SL sound sensitivity is more than adequate for the size of this system. Interfacing receivers or amp equipment will find the Klipsch Quintet SL above standard for compatibility.

Klipsch Quintet SL - The One to Own
If quality sound is important but space is limited, the Klipsch Quintet SL is the system to own. Even if space isn’t limited and design is important, this great looking system is a ready partner for audio needs. For those who share your living space, however, a meeting of minds may be necessary to determine the sound volume that is acceptable to all. One man’s full sound volume may not exactly be another’s. That’s how very capable and audio-competent the Klipsch Quintet SL is in providing the best sound system as well as good looks.
