Review of JVC Home Theater Receivers.

JVC Home Theater Receivers I like JVC, but I don't love JVC. Couple that statement with the fact that I don't think I would ever consider buying a JVC product. Why? Well, look at it this way. There are worse, and there are better. In my mind at least. I won't say JVC receivers are a great choice, but I also won't claim they are a poor choice. I couldn't be more neutral could I?!?

They certainly market extensively. JVC ads are everywhere and it is a very prevalent brand in Europe. They also pioneered some of the standards (cables, technologies) used universally in the market today. But are their products worth buying? I will make some recommendations but the final verdict is yours. Your research here is a valuble first step in deciding whether JVC home theater receivers are he right choice for you.

JVC home theater receivers are well-powered, have an average reliability (repair history), and are average performers. A so-called middle-of-the-pack choice. They are affordable and historically have very well configured remote controls. Frankly, the average person would not be able to distinguish a Harman Kardon receiver from a JVC receiver. So you are likely to be satisfied with, and thoroughly enjoy your choice of JVC home theater receiver.

Let me sum it all up with one word. Average.
