When it comes time choose a home theater system, the Samsung HT-Z310T is definitely a model to consider. If you want a new system but don’t want to sell your first born to get it, then you should consider this model. Of course, like any purchase, there are pros and cons to the product. The following should help you decide if the Samsung HT-Z310T is right for you.

Experts and customers who invested in the Samsung HT-Z310T liked how inexpensive this home theater system was when compared to other models in the field. This model has many if not all of the same features as other models at an affordable price. Thus, this system is great for those who are working with a limited budget but who also want some bang for their buck. Though this system is inexpensive when compared to other models, but it still has some of the best sound possible.

Another major pro to the Samsung HT-Z310T is that it is easy to organize and put together. Many other models are difficult to piece together, but this is not the case with this model. Though it has the latest technology, it is also designed so that even someone with limited knowledge with such systems can set it up.
Another great feature to this system is that it is anynet+. Thus, any remote with this capability can work your home theater system. Additionally, this system has a built in converting DVD player which makes sound and image look that much better.

In today’s day and age, home theater systems are more than just a television or stereo and speakers. Thus, a major plus to the Samsung HT-Z310T is that it has a USB port. This allows the system to work with a variety of different systems, and thus, means it can perform a number of features.

One of the major downfalls or cons to the Samsung HT-Z310T is that it does not have a lot of connections to allow for additional components. For people who dream of complex or sprawling systems, this can be a major con to the model.

This home theater system is best when the user knows where they want to set it up and doesn’t plan on moving things around a lot. This is because the rear speakers are not wireless, and thus, the user has less flexibility than with other models.

Thus, if you want to take advantage of the great digital file features, USB pot, and an iPod dock plus great sound without having to unload lots of money, then you should definitely consider investing in the Samsung HT-Z310T.

When it comes to home theater systems, the Sony DAV-HDX275 BRAVIA is easily one of the most technologically advanced, new age products on the market. While many systems are bogged down with the same old technology, Sony has stepped out a little bit with this product, providing accessories and options that are truly friendly to the technologically inclined consumers in today’s market. The system itself provides a huge amount of sound power and quality. It is highlighted by 5.1 digital audio, which powers up to 1000 watts of sound into your home. With five speakers and a strong sub-woofer, this system is truly one of the most dynamic on the market today.

While many home theater systems are designed to provide good sound quality, few come with the consumer friendly features of the Sony DAV-HDX275 BRAVIA. It comes with the capability of holding up to five different DVDs or compact discs. In addition, just about everything on the system has automatic calibration, meaning it adjusts for the position of your speakers without any work on your part. Another nice thing about this home theater system is that it had HDMI capability, meaning it can adjust to the new televisions, as well as some older screens.

System Pros
There are quite a few positives that go along with owning this system, most of them having to do with ease of use. This system is one of the first on the market to come with one-touch technology. This is a new feature that has basically simplified things for you, and allows you to control advanced functions of the system with only a single click of a remote. This is a step up from the days when you might have to adjust a number of different switches in order to get the result you were looking for.

Another pro to owning this system is that it comes complete with capability for most media devices. If you are like most people, you will want to play music from your iPod through the speakers of your new system. The Sony DAV-HDX275 BRAVIA has an iPod dock, and has the capability to play other sorts of new media, as well. The setup and installation of these things is extremely easy, as with most aspects of this system.

The system comes complete with a digital signal processor, which in layman’s terms means that your sound quality will be enhanced even greater. No matter if you are playing music from an iPod, watching a DVD through that player, or just watching the game on digital cable, the sound will adjust to perfectly suit your room. It is this feature that certainly makes this system one that’s worth your consideration.

System Cons
One of the problems with this system is that, while it does have ports for your media hookups, it does not have more than one. That means if you are toggling between a couple of external sound applications, you will have to do a little bit of work in changing out the cords every so often. In addition, there is only one HDMI hookup, so you have limited capability there.

Overall, the system is a good one and it is a progressive step in the right direction for Sony. They have really stepped it up in terms of trying to provide the best sound quality, while also providing premium peripheral capabilities for customers. This system is not the absolute best thing that you can buy on the market, but it provides a great deal of sound power and application capability for the price that you’ll be paying, making it quite a value.

The Onkyo HT- S3100 is a Home Theater System that offers consumers fundamental audio/ video features. This 5.1 channel surround sound system with an audio/ video receiver offers power and precision at an affordable price. This system has a 3 component inputs that produce 1080 pixel resolution and high definition audio performance. The receiver puts out 700 watts of power and has a 24 bit digital to analog converter or DAC. It has an AM/FM digital tuner and has 30 preset radio station slots. This system is iPod ready, so you can purchase an iPod deck whenever you’re ready to upgrade. It also has a remote control that will operate the complete system.

This system is simple to set up and usually takes about thirty minutes to be completely functional. The front speakers are 2 way bass and the center speaker is also 2 way with a dual woofer. The surround speaker is 1 way and the subwoofer is 8 inches. The cabinet design is plastic with a black finish.

The Onkyo HT-S3100 has a headphone jack, coaxial digital input, optical digital input, a fluorescent display, a sleep timer and a bass and treble control. It will play CDs, DVDs, digital music files, TV and Satellite broadcast. It also has all the gaming capabilities. You can add Blue Ray to the mix and HD DVD as well. It has a 2 year warranty from Onkyo.

This system is a great second system or perfect for the consumer who is in the market for the first time. It will perform all the basic function of a home theater system. Like all systems the pros do outweigh the cons. Some of the cons include: no HDMI input or output and the speakers are larger that necessary. The bass is weak at any level of volume. The big pro found in all the reviews about this product is the great price. Anyone on a budget should consider this system.

The other great standard feature included in this system is Onkyo High Current Power Supply concept which ensures that there always is enough power to respond to the surround sound dynamics. The signal is never tainted and signal noise is greatly reduced.

Like all home theater systems, the Onkyo HT-S3100 has competition. The Onkyo HT-S4100 and the Onkyo HT-S5100 are competition in the mid- price market. There are distinct differences between these systems but they do attract the same consumer. Sony, Samsung and Phillips all make home theater systems that compete with Onkyo, but Onkyo is able to maintain a slight edge over the competition because of the overall quality of the system and the price.

This popular price market is driven by the dollars available and as long as all the features are similar, all the home theater systems in this market will do well. The motivating factor seems to be: How much performance can the consumer get, for as little an investment as possible.

The Philips HT-S3544 is a five star, 5.1 home theater system. It is 1000 watts of power thanks to Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro-Logic II and DTS surround–sound. It has a progressive scan DVD player which up-converts to 1080 pixels for a HD resolution premium picture. It has an iPod docking station that charges the iPod, as well as plays your favorite movies and music. It can also display photos and play music from USB flash drives.

This system has the ability to play several different disc types including: DVD video, SVCD, VCD, DVR-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, CD, CD-R DVD+RW. It plays MPEG2, WMA, JPEG, MP3 and MPEG1 files. It has a remote control that will control all the features. It has a digital audio and coaxial inputs and HDMI, composite, component and video outputs. The AM/FM tuner has 40 presets.

The Philips HT-S3544 has a warm sound, a deep base and a super price. Another great feature of this unit is the ability to play home burned DVDs from your computer so you can watch them on your TV. This home entertainment system gives the Panasonic SC-PT460, the Samsung HT-TZ315 with tower speakers, the Sony HT-SS1300 and the Sony DAV-DZ660 with tower speakers, some stiff competition. They are all good systems but there are pros and cons to be considered when comparing systems; most of the time it comes down to personal preferences as far as extra features, the amount of base and the quality of the sound compared to other systems. Several factors should be considered like room size, the position of the speakers and how much music you listen too and how much video you watch.

Most consumers are also concerned with the amount of time it takes to set up any system; they want to do it quickly and without issues. This Philips system can be set up in less than thirty minutes, thanks to ample cord length and clear instructions. The addition of the iPod deck on the Philips system does add a lot of perceived value to this system, however some consumers say the deck is flimsy and needs support. Some reviews have mentioned the Philips HT-S3544 remote is hard to use because the buttons are too small. Other reviews point out that the sub-woofer does not have its own volume control, the bass is a little weak and the back speakers are not wireless. Another review says it needs an optical input for external players like Blue Ray and HD-DVD.

As you can see the issues mentioned are not reasons not to buy this system, they are points to consider when you shop the competition. Most of the reviewers gave this system a five star rating and the lowest rating was a four star because the review could not find the owners manual in the box.

There are a lot of choices when it comes to home theater systems. They all have great features, although some are a better value when you consider the extras like iPod decks and wireless speakers. It does make sense to shop the market before you purchase one, there are some bargains available when you know what to look for and what you can live with, from a budget point of view.

“Small but mighty” is the way to describe the new Klipsch Quintet SL audio system. In today’s interior decor, gone are the big, clunky and space-grabbing sound systems. Gone also are the earth-shaking booming bass and ear-splitting reverb. The new Klipsch Quintet SL produces great sound without offending. That’s really the aim of most audiophiles.

Appearance Counts
By all appearances, the Klipsch Quintet SL home theater ensemble is designed with sound and appeal in mind without sacrificing one for the other. Three front speakers are MTM D’Appolito design complete with horn-loaded 3/4 inch aluminum dome tweeters and two 3.5 inch mid-bass drivers. There are also two ports on the exterior of the woofers. The new design allows for three speakers to create the appearance of three sides of flat panel similar to the style of the new flat panel TVs. Rear speakers, like those of front speakers, are also horn loaded tweeter and 3.5 inch woofers for maximum quality sound. This configuration establishes the clean design as well as the quality of sound.

The Best in Sound Features
With 93db@1watt/1meter for the fronts and 91db@1watt/1meter for rears, the Klipsch Quintet SL sound sensitivity is more than adequate for the size of this system. Interfacing receivers or amp equipment will find the Klipsch Quintet SL above standard for compatibility.

Klipsch Quintet SL - The One to Own
If quality sound is important but space is limited, the Klipsch Quintet SL is the system to own. Even if space isn’t limited and design is important, this great looking system is a ready partner for audio needs. For those who share your living space, however, a meeting of minds may be necessary to determine the sound volume that is acceptable to all. One man’s full sound volume may not exactly be another’s. That’s how very capable and audio-competent the Klipsch Quintet SL is in providing the best sound system as well as good looks.

The Sony HT7200DH is an ideal starter system for people just getting into the home theater market. This is my first time out using any kind of home theater system. Overall is sounds just great. Whether I play music or movies, they all sound really good. I especially enjoy the surround sound while watching movies.

Gosh, I can’t believe how easy it was to set up for a beginner. It has quite a few inputs, outputs and syncs. However the speakers and sub are not that great and therefore I would give them a poor rating.

If you don’t really know anything about theater systems, purchasing all of the components in the complete box is a good way to go for the novice. After thinking about it, even though I am happy with the system, if I were to purchase again, I would buy the individual components. I already had another set of quality speakers in another room that I attached to the system. They out perform the Sony speakers that came in the box.

When I initially set out to purchase a home theater system, one of the major concerns that I had was that the unit could provide a high volume level. This system certainly met the expectations that I was looking for. In general I use the volume at 20 for regular TV viewing. And when I watch movies or any type of sports events, I like to set the volume on about 30.

The remote control is what you might call, kind of sub standard. Because, it doesn’t really have the power to work effectively from great distances. My recommendation to you would be to purchase a quality universal remote. The speaker cable that comes with the package is a standard sized cable. In order to set up the system for some rooms you may want to invest in some longer cables to give you the length that you may need.

Other than the remote and the speaker cable, the overall system is great. You get really good sound with plenty of inputs in a stylish design for a great low price.

At first glance, the Samsung HT-X715T 5.1 Channel Bluetooth Home Theater System looks like something right out of a science-fiction movie. It has a sleek design that makes it downright artistic in appearance. While it is a work of art in appearance, it is more than just something you place on a mantel. It is a stunning home theater system that not only delivers on what it promises it far exceeds what it promises.

The Samsung HT-X715T delivers a nice system for DVD viewing and CD listening entertainment. Then again, “nice” may be a severe understatement. The picture and sound clarity is among the clearest on the market. And is that not among the most important attributes a home theater system should embody?

Another huge benefit of the Samsung HT-X715T is its incredibly low cost in comparison to other models and systems. No, you do not need to spend a king’s ransom to acquire a top of the line home theater system and the Samsung HT-X715T is proof of this. Those with a modest amount to spend on a home theater system should look into this model.

And, no, the fair price does not come at the cost of quality. This is a fantastic system and anyone looking for a great home entertainment system should not overlook it.

The Yamaha YHT-390BL home theater system has 5-channel 500W powerful surround sound, 1080p-compatible HDMI 13, iPod and Sirius Satellite Radio compatibility, and five speakers, among other features. To help you decide if this model is right for you, we have compiled information listing the model’s pros and cons.

One thing that people love about the Yamaha YHT-390BL is the model’s 2 HDMI inputs. This makes using as many different devices as is possible. This maximizes what one can do with their home theater system. For example, you can hook up everything from a television to a DVD player to game consoles. Customers can use all of these things without losing any kinds of resolution or quality. People think that this feature makes using the system that much easier and more convenient.

Even with only the basics hooked up to the Yamaha YHT-390BL, the system has some of the best sound quality available. Everything from video games to CDs to DVDs is sure to sound clear as crystal. The Yamaha YHT-390BL has a deep bass thanks to the model’s sub woofer. Additionally, the speakers are solid and durable: the sound that comes through them is clear and the speakers are sure to last for quite some time. Both users and experts praised the model’s complex surround sound.

Though one can hook up a number of items to their Yamaha YHT-390BL, a con of the system is that one audio is passed through one’s television, and this means that one has to run another cable from the player. Some criticize this because they think the cable should come with the system whereas others don’t mind the inconvenience, especially since the cable is inexpensive and because the sound is still high quality.

One major con to the Yamaha YHT-390BL is the design of the speakers. This model’s speakers are large and bulky. If you want a stylish system, this is not the choice for you. Additionally, this system’s wire is quite thin. Thus, the wire is not as durable as it could be. The model’s speaker pre-set functions are difficult to change. The Yamaha YHT-390BL has great sound, but its speakers lack something to be desired.

The JBL CS6100BG Complete 6-Piece Home Theater System is a mighty fine speaker system for the money spent. The list price for the JBL CS6100BG is $1,199.00, which is a good chunk of change for anyone who isn’t an audiophile, yet it’s a good investment if you care about sound quality. For your money you get an amazing sound system, which is frankly much better sounding that anything in a lower price bracket.

The five speakers produce vibrant, clear sound that will most likely make you hear things that you otherwise might have missed in your favorite movies. They don’t sacrifice sound quality for style, either. The JBL CS6100BG’s speakers are as fantastic sounding as they are incredibly stylish.

The 10 inch subwoofer is powered by a 300W amp and it packs a powerful punch for your movies or music. It’s a much larger step up from other all-in-one kits that usually come with an 8 inch or less sub with much less power behind them.

There really aren’t many downsides to this unit. Factoring in the size of the speakers and the power of the subwoofer, the perfect sized room for the JBL CS6100BG should be a small to medium sized living room. You’d certainly want larger speakers for a large room, so this unit might not be for those with space to spare.

The JBL CS6100BG Complete 6-Piece Home Theater system is certainly not an entry level system with its higher price tag. It does produces some of the most excellent bang for your buck sound though, so if you’re considering spending a little bit more for a better home theater experience you’ll certainly want to consider this set.

I have had home theater systems before that were small and large. This model is more of a mid size range. It has a very nice sound. Excellent product. When you purchase this home theater system you will see how easy it is to setup straight out of the box.

If you have a Samsung TV and are looking for total compatibility, you cannot go wrong with this product. Hooking it up is easy as can be. It’s a good buy for the price. It’s well worth the money if you are in the market for a home theater system.

I placed the unit in my living room. I wanted a unit that would blend in with my other furnishings and not look so much like an audio system. I was looking for a product with great sound.

Another feature that I had in mind was for the unit to have very few wires. Wires all over the living room just look like a cluttered tangled mess. The unit comes with a power cord and hiding the speaker wires was very easy to do.

The speakers look great! And, they blend in nicely with the rest of the furniture in the living room. The sound quality of the speakers is fairly good, but I would not call them great. The unit does not come with equalizer settings, but for every day listening its fine.

The truth is that this home cinema system is a treasure. Video-wise, the up scaling is very clean and has a sharp clarity for HD TVs. When viewing everything I’ve watched, there has been improved quality. I’m not considered to be very audio savvy, but to me the system produces great sound quality. There is no surround sound really, but the output is still crisp.

If you are a current HT owner this system might be taking a step backwards. In general, it is an excellent starter system for someone who has an odd assortment of devices and wanted to simplify. If you are starting from scratch it’s perfect to get you going. The style of this unit spells class all the way.
