It’s true that you can find home theater packages with dedicated receivers for a lot less, but what you are paying for with the Take Classic 5.1 Speaker System are much better performing speakers. The Take Classic 5.1 Speaker System comes with five smallish sized speakers and a subwoofer. The 8 inch downward firing sub is powered by a 200 watt amp and it produces tight, deep bass, which produces a satisfyingly deep rumble when needed. While the five speakers can overdrive at high volumes, they are well suited for the needs of the average buyer and should be pleasing to most audiophiles. The Take Classic Speaker System performs well with both music and movies producing larger than expected and extremely clear sound, which is sometimes difficult to accomplish in a package offering like this. In fact, this system will outperform a lot of other systems of a comparable price range.

One of the only downsides to the Take Classic 5.1 Speaker System is that Energy doesn’t sell extra speakers, so those looking to expand their home theater to have 6.1 or 7.1 surround sound will not have that option.

If you’re looking for the fantastic sound that you have been otherwise missing or are looking to upgrade, you really can’t go wrong with the Energy Take Classic 5.1 Speaker System. The incredible sounding speaker system is almost better than anything else found in the same category.

For the price of $56.00 I figured there wasn’t much to loose. Because I wasn’t sure how good they might be as far as the sound quality. I wanted to add some base sound to my new flat screen TV. And to use them for watching movies and Xbox gaming, without laying out a whole bunch of money. I pretty much feel like I got a good value for the fifty six dollars.

The installation went rather smoothly and was easy enough to do. It took me, may be about ten minutes to complete. I began my first game and was delighted! The sound is great and I was able to get more base than the speakers on the TV had been providing.

It has really great sound quality for being loud and clear. It has a light weight amp and you can mount the speakers on the walls. I have it located in a fairly small room and the sound quality sounds just fine.

Unfortunately they are not wireless speakers, so I had to try and find ways to conceal the cables that connect the speakers to the amp. And it did not come with a remote control, which I understand that’s probably what you get for the price. Other people may not have purchased this product because it did not come with a remote. I would have preferred wireless speakers, but could not afford any more money out lay.

The only other downside that I can see is that you cannot mute the speakers; you must manually turn them down. Considering what I paid for these speakers, there not a bad deal at all. They served the purpose for which I purchased them for at a really affordable price for any one. You might want to give them a try and see if they will work well for you.
