Bose Cinemate Review

If you are looking for surround sound then look elsewhere. The Bose Cinemate will not be the choice for you. If, however you are looking for great quality sound in a small package that is easy to set up, then look no further.

The Bose Cinemate consists of three parts and that’s it! Cinemate uses two speakers and an Acoustimass bass module in place of the usual surround sound package of five or more speakers. What this means for you is that there are no wires all over the room and no speakers that have to be strategically placed in order to sound “right”. It is also easily connected right out of the box with 4 quick connections with intuitive one way connectors. Simple. What you have is a compact, attractively designed package that really packs a punch in a modest sized room. Add the universal remote and you have a great sound system which is sure to put new life into all of your TV viewing.

Some things that are not so sweet about the Bose Cinemate are the price, the weight of it and the fact that there are no mounting brackets or stands for the speakers.

You may be able to find another product that is comparable for the price. Remember you are paying for the Bose reputation and name. Bose does sell stands for the speakers seperately and these will set you back about $100 dollars.

All in all the Bose Cinemate is a great choice for rooms that are not too large and for people who want relatively hassle free set up in a new sound system for their television viewing.
